Hi guys i have a number of breitlings such as emergency, superocean, superocean heritage, super avenger, chrono avenger, chrono avenger m1, hercules, b1, aerospace, and a seawolf but im really giving a rolex deepsea seadwellersome thought any of you guys fans or not fans what is your thoughts?

Like any watch it has it's fans and it has it's "non-fans" but personally I love the Deepsea and plan to get one myself. It's the best watch Rolex have ever made IMHO. Looking at your collection of great Breitlings, perhaps it's time for something different in your collection..... and you could do a lot worse than the Deepsea. :D But ultimately only you can decide.

I totally agree, the Deepsea is a great watch. I wear mine in regular rotation. I enjoy wearing it every bit as much as my Breitlings. It is versatile, easy to read, and wears like a much lighter watch.
Just my $0.02 worth
Mike

I Like the rolex, but saying that I like a few watches in the Rolex range - the bracelets are more lightweight but are excellent wearers, I wouldn't be without mine.

Try it on and let us know how you get on

Hi,
I also tried on a deepsea dweller and deep sea last week. I am about to purchase a new watch and It was between the deep sea dweller and another breitling. The Rolex is at a massive premium over the breitling I have in mind. I dont want that to get in the way toooo much of my decision as it is very seldom I make a big guilty purchase like this. I thought that the build quality of the case and especially the bezel of the Rolex was absolutely awesome!!!! Top notch.

However I too thought the bracelet felt a little narrow and thin compared to the proportion/weight of the hefty case. So it was a bit of a disappointment as I kind of made up my mind before I saw it that I would LOVE it. However this is coming from a guy who likes the sky racer bracelet! so take it as you will. Its all about personal taste I guess . I think I was just expecting a lot more. I guess you really have to be sure before laying down all your hard earned cash!! This is the really fun part though so enjoy

I like the pics, and I like it in person, but the skinny little bracelet might be a deal breaker for me. It looks really awkward imo.

:yeahthat

I just tried one on a few days ago and had the same thought, I liked the watch but the skinny bracelet didn't seem to quite suit it and looked a bit "off" IMO, but that's just my opinion. On the plus side, I thought the clasp was great, wish Breitling would come up with something similiar.

I've successfully applied the OR clasp for the ProII of my CSO - sorry, cannot upload scan 'coz it is too large, it can be seen on another site's Ling Forum - I don't want to violate BS rules so do not name that site. Anyway it looks fantastic and is very very functional.

Regards: Robert

Thx Roff, here is the link:

About larger photos: I have a Photobucket account but first time ever I could not upload the scans I'm talking about. Anyway, the link shows the clasp mod - scans do not do justice, as in real world this combo is way nicer.
Best, Robert
