When I bought my Aerospace a month ago, I mentioned to my AD that I was looking forward to getting a new hat. I've just about worn my others out. When he went into the back to get the box for my watch, he came out with a few Breitling gifts, "so you don't have to wait for your hat" - a new black/gray hat, a black/burgundy pen in a gift box, and a new yellow Breitling cloth still in the box. I had just met the man a couple of days before, but we're obviously off to a good start!

Well, today UPS showed up with a teeny, tiny package. It was way too small for a hat, so I was immediately grateful to my AD, as I am a hat guy. BUSA saw fit to send me

I happen to collect knives, so this was a welcome addition, though I would have been quite happy with another hat. I've always bought Victorinox when it comes to Swiss army knives, so getting a Wenger was a nice change of pace. Although it doesn't show in the photo, the slabs on the knife are contoured. The case is fake leather, but seems well made.

And, of course, here's a few shots of my new watch:

It's a nice change of pace from my Blackbird, which has been terribly neglected this past month.

Congrats!

I almost purchased an Aerospace myself, but ended up going with the Airwolf Raven instead.

Nice looking watch!

Nice Aerospace and knife. I got the little knife after purchasing my SABS-LE. BTW, how are you liking the "inner circle of striations?" I'm not so keen on them. :?:

Yeah...., us British guys! :?

I have to say though, while BUK are not renowned for being overly forthcoming with their freebies, they are absolutely excellent to deal with when it comes to customer service IMO. Obviously I'd like a few freebies as well as it's just a nice touch, but I personally find it hard to fault BUK.

@Codeman - looks like that AD of yours is a keeper! :)

Thanks for the comments, guys!

@Driver8 - if I had to pick, I'd prefer excellent service over the freebies as well. My AD just started carrying Breitling, as a result of the Carlysle bankruptcy, so I don't have much experience to go on. The dealer is a locally owned stored that has been around for several decades and has a solid reputation, so I don't think I'll be disappointed.

I actually like the new face quite well. Just before I bought it, I almost bought a non-SQ Aerospace that was 8-10 years old. The main reasons were that I really wanted a SuperQuartz, but also, the older dials look a bit sparse to me. Besides, when seen in person, the new design doesn't stand out as much as photos tend to make it appear, at least to me.

I got that Breitling Swiss Army knife in the mail yesterday too! Pretty cool as I've already got a hat from Breitling a couple of weeks ago (bought 2 B's last month).

Congrats on your Aerospace and the nice freebies! The lume shot of the Aerospace looks really cool.
