I was surprised no one brought them up earlier as well, great brand and the only American watch I would buy.

I have to agree with Roff on this one 100%. RGM watches are incredible. I spoke to David at the watchseller a couple weeks ago about a Grand Pilot. They are very reputable and I can recomend them as very reliable dealers. Plus they are just south of me in Tuscon AZ.

Yep.

And while they make some great pieces the lume will be non existent in 20 years because it's tritium based.

Like Otto says, though, Lum-Tec is based in Ohio. Not high-end, but the have some pretty cool-looking pieces. Most are quartz, but they currently have an intriguing line of automatics that are restored Slava double-barreled movements.
