It's common practice among scammers, hence why my reservations.

was nearly about to shell out £2000 for it, so a lucky escape really.

Just have to keep tralling ebay, and hope a nice Bentley GT comes up fairly cheap.

When people say about the date being sunk in, what do they mean?

As Iv just spotted this on ebay:

The Chinese 7750 copy uses an extra gear so the date wheel sits lower from the dial, particularly when the date aperture is at 4.

Ahh I see, so if you were to set an official one at the side of it, there would be less of a gap.
