Do any of the fine collectors of this board have the original instruction booklet that came with a very early/mid-1950s 806 Navi?
If it's from a Valjoux 72 806, all's the better.
A picture would be great!
Thanks & best,
T.

I have a lot of the very late 50' and into the 60's ones, they are the little yellow ones that I believe came approximately at the same time as the yellow boxes.

I have no idea as to what kind of instruction that came with the Val's and mid 60's (if any at all).

This is the only Navitimer one I've seen, I believe it was used through the Sixties.

Is this the one you mean Kurt?

Interesting... So maybe the little yellow booklets with the slide rule instructions were not produced until the late 1950s and before that, this sort of simple pamphlet was the only style of instructions?

sorry Kurt thought you were in germany for some reason, does anyone know what came with a Navi 806 in 1966 in terms of paperwork or boxes then I at least know what to look for.

It's very likely, I have the same instructions in German writing.

I've not seen that early Navitimer sheet before.

However I have come across instructions for the Chronomat 769.
(See bottom right of pic)

I've also come across a large shop display (or promotional) cardboard chronomat, which allows you to move
the sliderule. (If someone has a pic please post)

Both of these date from the Forties I believe.

The paperwork is often available on ebay or watchco in Australia has a stash of them.

(click on Spare Parts -- Breitling accesories)

I'm sure others will correct me if I'm wrong, but I've seen the Guarantee booklet and the Navitimer instruction booklet with watches from that period.

Boxes will differ, the classic is the small yellow box.

I've also seen the Wakmann marked boxes.

I don't have the pics credited on my Hard Drive - but I think they're yours Kurt?
