OK the casebacks have been made and are about to be engraved and then repolished. Since this is a solid caseback we tried to get the maximum possible number of letters available for personal engraving as well as maintain the look. Take a look at the pic below, your personal engraving will go under the Mark 2 logo. Please post your engraving message here (prefferably) or if it is something private go ahead and email me (afaleh AT gmail.com)

thanks guys.

Just a reminder, as said in the reservation thread if you had reserved a watch I have already paid for your deposit, but pulling out now would mean I get stuck with an extra watch which I can sell. If you ask for engraving and then bail on me then that means I get stuck with an engraved watch that is harder to sell so its double screwing time for ol' Altair

Please do not ask for engraving a watch if you are iffy, thanks 8)

Just an observation from someone who is NOT in this LE buy, but went through the last one: I would strongly suggest that unless you are 10,000% confident that you will keep this watch forever, dont have something really personal engraved on the watch. Watches tend to look different in the metal and sometimes you just dont get the warm fuzzy feeling after its on the wrist. That being said, if you engrave "Ricki Bobbie RULEZ" on the back, it might be a little more difficult to resale this to someone else.

Dont think its a possibility? Think again. I believe that 3 of the last LE of 15 pieces have been sold after the owners received them.

Just food for thought.....

(and remember I am not part of this watch buy..... just the last one)

Hi Bronco,

Good advice, I did think about that when I picked a personal inscription, but not planning on selling the watch, or exchanging the wife at present (and if I did I guess I will just have to look for one with the same name)

Ian

Hi Altair,

Having thought about it awhile, I think I'll just keep mine blank as well. I can always have it engraved later if I get inspired.

I'm still struggling to come to any decision regarding what to have engraved.... I've never had that option before and I've got lots of ideas!

I can always get it engraved at some point in the future too I suppose!

Cheers!

Dave.
