Just want to share the fact that I am getting my Steelfish Pro 2 bracelet polished on Friday at my local AD here in the caribbean.

He is charging me 150 US$, which I think is very reasonable...

What do you guys think? Should I also consider polishing the brushed parts on the case or leave it at the bracelet alone?

Thanks

No idea about the price, sorry.
But everyone must love the Pro II.
One of the finest bracelets B produce IMHO.

Try to take some "before" and "after" pictures. I think after we see those we'll be able to tell you how good a price you got.

I Get the whole thing gone for 100, taken apart as much as possible without cracking open the case, and im happy with that, 150 is a tad high, but not outrageous at all

I'd say get the case polished as well, otherwise the circular brushing is gonna look a bit out of place. Still keep the brushed bezel though :)

As already said before and after pics would be good. Are they removing any scratches and dents as well?

I posted a pic of a polished 'fish a while back, it looks really great with the case polished also. As MartC said, just leave the bezel brushed, like the bezels on other polished Breitlings like the SA and AS.

Also, make sure that your jeweller knows what he/she is getting in to. I took a Steelfish to a local Rolex repair shop, asked them to polish the bracelet and case. They said "no problem", should only take an hour or so. A week later, she finally finished and said that she would never polish a Breitling again. Apparently, it's harder to remove the brushed finish than it looks.

Yeah, I think you should get the case polished too. Polished bracelet sitting between brushed lugs wouldn't look quite right.

Here are a couple of pics of my old Steelfish, with black dial, that I had polished.
