hello folks,
here i germany we dont find out yet more aboit this item (paperwaight) ore something.
its made from aluminium, has a glss front its approx 6inch diameter and 2inch high.
heavy, massive made. if anybody hase some informations please post here !

That is a rotor to a Breitling, which model I do not know though...

It is mounted on the movement and swings around when you move your arm (e.g. walking) and tensions the mainspring.

Might be the case, absolutely. At least it looks like a rotor though ;)

The OP mentions that the overall dimensions are 6'' across and 2'' high so definitely not a real rotor. I suspect a paper weight mock-up of a rotor. I've never seen one before. Pretty cool. :)

That's what I was trying to subtly hint at (too subtly apparently).

I'm guessing that it's a generic thing that just has different brands logos put on it as it's not accurate for a Breitling rotor.

Any more pictures of that? Does the rotor come out of the case? Can it be mounted to a wall? It's pretty cool regardless.

boah, its mounted inside the alimunium hull and covered by glas. i know thats a rotor ! the question is, when and for what (promotion ore else) was it made, ill never saw it anywhere it came out of the office from a breitling rep. in belgium.
so i need more informations of the history !
