To appreciate how comfortable the DSSD really is, it needs to be worn on a properly sized bracelet. At a first glance it may seem top heavy and unwieldy, but after wearing mine for the last 2 weeks, no watch in the world can compare to how well-designed the bracelet and watch are.

DSSD all the way. PM me for some pics.

I did see ur v nice pics in the other thread -- certainly contributed to the indecision I have now. But I have owned an Omega, Rolex, and Breitlings -- never a Panerai... hence the strong pull of the novelty value, I guess.

How about the 194 "Subzilla"? 47mm, brushed steel & ti, 2500m WR. Certainly comparable to the SA as far as the "in ur face!" value

I have tried both on, and do not like the 305. The SDDS is nice BUT the strap is a joke, it is way to narrow for that house.

So my answer, go for PAM 328 or a sub or gmt with the new ceramic bezel
