A colleague of mine just returned surprisingly with a B01 from his Christmas vacation (got a great deal on it as well). Nice to see one in real life and he loves it.

very true, the lume of the b01 looks like it was based on a fake lol just don t like the overall look of the b01, the presentation pictures of the b01 looks great but if we see it in amateur pictures it doesnt look that good

I'm with Driver8 on this all the way.

To me the dial on the 01 is tweet, bezel is 70's (shove a bucket of diamonds on it to make it look...)

(there you go....an opinion (mine))

Blackbird cause it looks original, the b01 well looks like its from outer space with those big numbers around the bezel, i had that problem too till i decided to get the world.. Good luck on your purchase very hard decision both are great watches.. O and keep in mind the B01 looks very nice on the wrist it definitely sets an example.

personally I would go the buck rogers look. In the flesh its a very nice watch. More rounded than most other blings. The bezel... well umm, its growing on me.

Undoubtedly some minds will be changed over time, but so far I'm still not on-board with that bezel. Shame because there are some very nice touches elsewhere on the Chronomat B01.

your photographic skills are very good, you show the watch what it really is, the blackbird shines a bit more imo whit normal photos than the b01

b01 is a great watch whit a great mecanical movement, but besides that and some details in the dial i prefer the true instrument for professional the blackbirdie!!!

And especially seeing that terrific lume shot! Thank you! BTW, since the discontinuance of the Crosswind (2004), the current BB is the only Breitling chronograph with superluminova on ALL hands and hour markers/indices! :!:
