does the absence of a COSC certificate diminish the resale of the watch? Thanks, Bryan

To some it may.... You can get a reprint.

To me I could care less about the COSC... I have purchased many watches that don't have them. If that makes the price lower then great, i'll trade a COSC for the Green Certificates with dead presidents on them all day. I can actually do something with them. Just remember you can't wear the certificate. Just make sure the watch is real.

I agree with txturbo. Who cares. I'm not sure it even helps to prove authenticity, since there are fake COSC certs out there too.

There have been reports here that an AD can get you a reissued cert for around $50.

I doubt that it has much impact on price, but I also suspect that its presence will make the watch easier to sell.

I went to my AD in Paris (CAPET) France, in order to get a reissued Cosc certificate for an old B2, it was only 35 € euros.
They only needed to see the watch, the orginal bill or services. It was done in 10 days only.
