Since I got my small 36mm Railmaster a few weeks ago, I have been lusting after the OEM dark brown croco leather strap with brown stitching that I have seen on many new Omegas in the shops recently. Went into my AD to inquire yesterday, and they had a 19mm in stock. The price blew me away, but I really want this watch to have the OEM strap and deployant, so now it has. I am delighted about the look that it gives this watch, and how the dark brown richness suits the dial. Sorry for the quality of photos. I will get my buddy to take some wrist shots later and post those as well:

That's a very nice colour and it gives the watch a totally different look - congrats.

Awesome strap, Carl. Love dark brown Crocs in general - and yeah OEM strap pricing is insane. I have the 20mm Croc on Omega deployant for my Speedmaster Pro

I've always been a strap maniac, but I like to venture outside of the usual OEM product as I usually want something to spice things up. The Chronissimo from Di-Modell really does it for me.. check it out on my Eterna Cambridge.. if you can get past the non-OEM stuff it can be a very fun way to extend the hobby without breaking the bank all the time.

I love your choice of straps, on all of your watches! I did get an aftermarket for my Seawolf, which was very successful. Of course, the Seawolf is now gone in trade for my 2007 SMP - that was my last Breitling  - however, no regrets. For some reason, though, I want to keep my Omegas on OEM and nothing else! I do love fooling around with different straps, though, and am thinking maybe of getting a "tool" watch, like an Ocean7 or something, that I feel more comfortable experimenting with.
I especially loved your choice for the Gaham, and agree it looks a heck of a lot better than what they provided. Sometimes, even on wonderful and expensive watches, the manufacturers just don't seem to get it, when it comes to some of the smaller details. For me, I find these "oddities" mostly with straps, bracelets and my pet peeve, the calendar date window.
It's a quiet Sunday for me, and I am going to take a little trip out to Oakridge today, I really like to "browse" at Rodeo Jewellers. I think that I will leave my credit card at home today!

Cheers,
Carl
