The answer is no - no one knows, but I would put a lot of money on the answer being no, they will not.

Aeromarine range is the value end of the market so not a logical place to put an in house movement, my bet would be Navitimer next.

I also hear persistent rumours about a bit of a shift at Breitling where in house movements are concerned. I don't have anything definitive, but from what I believe the original plan was to bring out a number of new models with the in house movement - much as the B01 was a different model to the regular Chronomat and give them updated styling to try and help the appeal to non watch afficonados who wouldn't necessarily pay more for a watch that looked the same just because it had an in house movement.

However, I believe that decision was revisited in the summer after disappointing sales for the B01 and that some of those models are being either restyled or completely rethought.

What I don't know is where that leaves Navitimers - I can't believe that there was to be a dramatic styling shift there.

Ooooo, bring on that Navi World B01 (or something that size), or a B01 equiped "proper" Chronomatic like the recently discontinued 44mm model with the left hand crown! :D We can but hope!

I'd love to think that's correct, but sadly if we don't get a 40th anniversary model what are the odds that we get a 41st annniversary model?

If they'd put the design concept on here, we could have told them they had a lemon of a design!

Just put the B-01 in a 44mm Navitimer and they'll walk off the shelf!

The optimist in me thinks that there is some good news ahead - they have been ramping up to produce the in house movements for years, they supposedly have the capability to put an in house movement in 20 - 25% of their total capacity and they have been 'practicing' by producing the ETA and Valjoux movements that are out of trademark protection (and I now believe that they have used Sellita to supply plates for those).

So what the heck are the movements going in?? The LEs that we have seen this year aren't carrying them which seems like an odd choice - especially the Cosmo that clearly would be capable of taking it based on layout (case size may have needed addressing). There just has to be something coming!
