I am about to purchase my first real watch - a Avenger Seawolf with metalbracelet. I can't decide between the yellow and the black dials. The black is more stylish and safe to pick. It is also very common. I also like the yellow dial. It is more fresh, but I am afraid that I will get tired of it in time. What are you experiences? Do you still love your yellow dials?

Best regards,
Morten

Morten,
If you really can't decide between the two dials, then in my opinion it all comes down to whether it is going to be your only watch. If it IS going to be your only watch then I would probably go with the black as it's more understated and you could wear your watch quite easily in every situation - work, leisure, weddings, parties, whatever....
However if you are planning to have a couple of nice watches, then I'd be very tempted to go for the yellow as it is a bit different, very eye-catching, and it really goes well with the titanium colour. The only drawback is that it probably won't go as well as the black with a suit or formal wear.

Driver - well said. I too went for a black "everyday" dial on my first high-end watch and for the second I got a SO on a coral dial... I knew probably right then I was bitten, now resulting in a few more watches and a few more colors.

Morten, a bit depending on the situation but I'd probably go for the yellow dial. When you're bitten you'll get something in black as well... :)

Agreed Aleister. In fact Morten, I think you should buy the yellow dial for no reason other than the simple fact that you can! Yellow dials are few and far between in the Breitling range (only the M1, the Emergency and the Seawolf have the option), so you may kick yourself if you don't take the opportunity now.

I love the yellow, but Black goes with just about anything!

Thanks guys. I will probably buy it with the yellow dial. I am bitten by the B-bug even before I have my first watch. I am sure that this watch won't be my last Breitling.

Best regards,
Morten
