Any thoughts on the "backwards" bezel?

It's not backwards, it's just a count-down bezel as opposed to a count-up (diver's) bezel. Count-down bezels (on genuine watches as opposed to poor fakes) tend to be bi-directional and are more prevalent on pilot and military watches.

The only other place I've seen a fake just like mine is on Whatchuseek (https://www.watchuseek.com/threads/fake ... er.636310/). A guy found one in a storage auction and was wondering if it was fake or genuine. I tried contacting the guy, but haven't heard back from him.

Like I said, fakes, be they bad or complete, make for interesting conversation.
