Hello, I want to buy at auction this Chronomat 81950. The photos published are not very clear and there is no picture of the movement. I am doubtful for its authenticity. What can you tell me about it? Is it real or a fake? Thanks in advance for any help you can get. |

Thank you for your immediate help and for your welcome to the forum. I live in Italy and I'm a big fan of Breitling since young. I have three, and all of the 1990s (a manual Callisto, a Sextant and an automatic Chronomat). My passion is the Chronomat 81950 in all its versions. I take advantage of your kindness to let some other questions on the clock at auction. What - in your opinion - the clock status? And its estimated value on the European market (Italy / Greece / Spain)? Where do I find the year of clock production through the serial number? Thanks again and sorry for my bad English. |

Can't date the watch from the serial. With that model number it's from the 80s (84 - 89), can't be more precise than that. I don't do pricing, check Chrono24 dealer asking prices and sold items on eBay. I am on a phone but condition looks OK for a 30 year old watch, assume it will need a service when considering what to offer. |
