Aside from missing two subdial hands does this appear worth pursuing? Buyer doesn't want alot of money for it but I'd have to make a short road trip to see it in person. Seems that the pushers should be gold as well? Apologies for mediocre pics, it's all I was able to receive from the seller. Seller claims it is 80's.

It's real, whether it's worth buying is up to you. With the missing sundial hands I would be concerned about movement damage.

I was also informed that it is not currently running....maybe I should "currently run" away from this piece. (despite a $350 price) Thank you for commenting.

And for 350 i'd buy it , any watchmaker can service that 7750 properly

Real but a complete franken piece made up of at least two Chronomats from different eras - case from a 1980's model, dial and hand from a late 1990s model

I would avoid this one. This one looks familiar …

Edit: I sensed a bit of deja vu about this one!: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f260/heres ... 00258.html

That'll teach me to call the 'easy' ones on a phone. Good spot Adrian.

Durn, you guys are good! That WUS post is the SAME craigslist piece. I'm going to go have a looksie at it (now for $250) and open up the back. Will share what I find. Thanks!

Feel free to let the jokes fly....I knew i shouldn't have been interested in this piece! Turns out there was not really a watch for sale. The seller agreed to meet in public and repeatedly no-showed then pleaded to meet at his house "to relax". Some twisted kind of scam to meet men I think. Dunno for sure, got out of dodge ASAP. Damn watches......
