Post subject: | Breitling Montbrilliant Datora - Real or Replica? |
Hi there, I'm new to the forum. I've been left this Breitling and was wondering if anyone can tell if its real or fake? I've googled lots of things and its looking real from what I can see to check. It does have certificate of authentication and boxes etc. Was wondering if you anyone would know by their initial look or if theres something this watch would/wouldn't do if it was a replica? Thank you! ![]() ![]() |

Pics are very blurry On my phone so difficult to tell. When I get home, I'll check on my laptop but can't say for sure at this point. |

The caseback shot is a copied stock photo of a genuine. But the one in the front shot, presumably your actual watch, is a fake. |

This is the pics my Mum sent me; I'll take some pictures myself and send them shortly.. how can you tell its a fake? My Mum took it to 2 watch jewellers and neither them knew. Would just like to know the obvious reason its a fake ![]() |

As stated photos are of two different watches - the caseback is from a real watch, dial is from a fake. Disinclined to offer too much further explanation as photos of two different watches appears inconsistent with the back story. |

I just come on here to get some answers and the person above has answered it which I'm very grateful for, not sure why my Mum sent me a pic of a stock image and haven't asked her if the dial one is off the internet either as we're not exactly close either... My partner took it into another jewellers today and again they said they could not see that it was fake and are calling Breitling on Monday morning to check serial numbers and get back to us.... I am happy to take pics of the actual watch from my actual phone tomorrow ![]() |

Thank you for your responses... the front image is of the actual watch. The stock image was sent from my uncle as he 'thought' it was a clearer picture of what he could take. Shame it's not real and a shame that fakes get made of such a fantastic brand of watch ![]() Thank you again for your help and I really appreciate your feedback |

Why does the story keep on changing? |

The story hasn't changed. Unfortunately pictures have been passed from family member to family member and we don't all communicate. As I say I came in asking a question. I got the answer .. I'd like to delete the post so don't get anymore grief from anyone but I'm not sure how |

1. Mum took photo of watch, but somehow there is a stock photo of real watch with a fake. 2. No it's actually the uncle who got it off the internet even though nobody even knows anything about it. 3. Your partner took the watch to jeweler. 4. You can take the actual watch "tomorrow". Never happened. 5. "We are not exactly close" yet your partner had access to watch and you can get pics "tomorrow" of the actual watch, even though you are "not close" and none of you "communicate" Sir, your story is completely shady and inconsistent. People will be watching. |
