Hi, my first post!
I'm considering bidding for a red dial chronomat 81.950 from 1980s. Pics look ok to me, however am not an expert. Where would the serial number for this year watch as its not stamped on back of case? Any thoughts appreciated. Seller has only been in existence for 1 year. Many Thanks

Thank you Dracha. I know Breitling changed their cases around this time and this one didn't have serial no on back, so that was one area I wasn't sure where it would be. Thanks again

After a near bankruptcy Breitling came out with a new series of chronometer watches called the 81950 on later watches they included the A B C D through the three corresponding model lines 13047 13048 13049 the first generation of the watch was called 81950 the face or dial in the photo was not a color offered on the early watches
