It's from our member, but after being pointed as a fake, he didn't have a problem to sell it.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Breitling-Super ... 7675.l2557

Reported after sale.

+1 - tempted to ban him just because of that, but he does have a track record of successful sales.

However, I do notice that it appears to be a commercial eBay account so not sure how many more 'private sales' he will be conducting.

Reported as "'Quality' fake with known fake serial number range, bad lume and dial detail errors."

He was viewing his now locked thread long after being pointed out and all he did is change photos and description.
I wouldn't want to have any business with that member.

PM'd me last night (multiple times) and mentioned how important his reputation was to him. Apparently not as important as dumping the watch to some unsuspecting eBay buyer. Actions speak louder than words and I for one am disgusted.

He has been advised that he will need to upgrade to a commercial account if he wants to continue selling and hopefully people will research first. I doubt that he knew that the watch was fake ahead of time, but that's no excuse for how he acted when he found out.

Posting photos from the listing here in case it becomes necessary to demonstrate that the watch was a fake.

I am reducing in size to meet the forum requirements, otherwise these are as posted and I note that there is a "wswatches" notation at the bottom of each photo. I would be grateful if someone else could confirm that these images are from the eBay listing.

first time I am using this emoticon :banhim:
clearly trying to deceive - changing his sales listing without commenting on the issue draws a very clear picture.

wms1 is upset and clearly feels that he has been wronged (by me).

If people believe that the watch is fake then they can report and post here as with any other eBay listing and the images of the listed watch are now captured in this thread. I don't want anyone else to upset, or be upset by, the seller so let's just leave it at that.

Roff it's hard on you if he thinks you've been hard on him, reporting 100% authentic on an fake item is fraud, the fact that a forum mod has identified this and that he's got out of it with being banned and a bruised ego- he should thank his stars. If breitling wanted to make a case out it they would have plenty of evidence to show knowledge of having a fake and then trying to sell it off as 100% authentic.
+2 reported post sale

I'm not trying to stir the pot, but can someone point out the telltale signs that identify this as a fake? I only ask because it's the best fake I've ever seen. Thanks all.

Item is now removed.

Post subject:  Re: Fake SO 42

good to hear the item is removed. our forum member had ample time to react here or at least cancel the ebay sale, but remained quiet until our multiple reports (I must have reported half a dozen times) finally made ebay end this clearly fraudulent activity ?

did I read his reputation was important to him ? :wowzers
