Hi, came across this watch described as the old navitimer in another board, can someone here please throw light on it?

Navitimer Patrouille de France, issued a Serie Speciale of 1000 pces in 1992-93 . Lemania 1873 inside , transparent caseback.
Frequent problem is dial discoloration , it turns from dark blue to goldish under combined action of moisture + sun .
