I'm in the market for an Aerospace and I've got one picked out that I'm currently negotiating for on another forum. The watch is located in Canada but the little voice in the back of my mind compels me to ask the question: Are the Aerospace fakes out there? I've done a bit of google research, and you can clearly see what look to be web sites of Chinese origin (based on verbiage and style of navigation) which have a few Aerospace replica models for sale. They appear to be using photos of genuine Aerospace models, so it may just be a case of that - advertise a genuine but if you ordered one, it would be terrible.

Any insight is appreciated. If it gets that far, I can provide the link to the page with the watch I've got my eye on.

Yes there are Aerospace fakes but they are all VERY bad! The copies typicaly have Japanese movements in them with pushers and non-inverse LCDs. Yes, you often see convincing looking copies on 'replica' sites but these will be stock photos of genuine versions.

Thanks. That's what I had suspected. After extensive reading on the different models of Aerospace out there, I was 99% certain the one I've got my eye on was genuine. Just doing due diligence to get the extra 1%. Thanks again!

Here is a thread with the best Aerospace fake: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=49393

Have you checked Altro's article on the Aerospace. It is a very useful reference of all the differnet model varients

It's possible I ran across it while researching Aerospace models, but I probably wouldn't know it if you slapped me with it, honestly.

I lied, I have consulted that exact thread multiple times when figuring out exactly which one I wanted. I simply didn't take note of who wrote it. Excellent info, though.
