Post subject: | Real or not? |
Hi all, After having the unenviable task of doing a house clearance for a relative who recently died, I came across this watch tucked away at the back of a cupboard. As the proud owner of a a Superocean it caught my attention initially by the fact it was heavy - as you would expect with a Breitling. It seemed to me to appear real, and certainly has a self winding mechanism that obviously works. However, I'm no expert and am aware that their are plenty of fakes out there so would like some advice. I tried to identify it myself but have not been able to match it up to anything I could find online. Maybe because it's fake! who knows? I have no idea of its history unfortunately but judging by the way it was 'hidden' my Uncle certainly believed it to be valuable. I hope the attached photo's help. Thanks in advance. |

no "giveaway" needed, just plain incorrect, hodgepodge of several different models, 2 crowns, pushers but no chrono function; rather pathetic. |
