I told the seller yesterday about this fake and he withdrew the listing but has relisted it today

:guns: :guns: :guns:

Reported:
" Has the typical telltales of the known fake copy of the Breitling Superocean 42 model ref A17364 :

- The bezel numerals are incorrect, excessive rounded corners of the digits, especially the inner corners of the '60'
- Poorly applied lume markers on the dial ring. The lume should be neat squares, not inconsistent blobs
- Same serial number range as the fake version, 1342xxx (The fakes have unique serial numbers but only the last 3 digits vary)"

May I ask what the tell tales are, for checking if this model is a fake?
You can also send a pm, if you don't want to tell it in public.

Its pretty much as per my report - they always use the same serial number range, rounded bezel digits, and ugly blobs for lume markers on the dial ring. (The poor lume is easy to sport on this dial colour due to the black border)
There are a few other subtle differences - the applied dial logo finish, B logo on the crown etc. There is an article on the net the does a detailed side-by-side with the genuine

Tnx a lot for pointing out the tell tales.
To be sure if I understood you well enough I went through a bunch of pictures on Google to see the differences myself.
I encountered several other fakes, which have been for sale in the past (even by reputable sellers).
Be carefull if you want to buy one, I would say.

Reported it also.

Ade113:
Thank you for the detailed description of the signs of fakedom. I, like many on here, am trying to become more expert in the fake finding and those specific details help a ton. It reminds me of the tutorial Bnewbie gave me on the "old" chronomat fakes some years ago.
