I really appreciate any help because I do not want to be ripped off.. The seller keeps taking offense when I accuse him that I have to check that its legit, but that's the steps I need to take to feel comfortable.

"Hi guys. I bought this watch off a website for $10. I know that it's fake but I'm hoping that it might just be good enough to pass as real and I can make a quick buck out of it. Just to make it sound plausible I'll make up some story about it being my grandfather's watch, or finding it in the basement while moving etc etc. If you guys think it's real then I'll flog it off on ebay for a few hundred or thousand bucks and make a killing!
