Hey guys,

Can someone please confirm if these are real or fake? I noticed one of them has two small holes on the side of the deployment and the other does not. Not sure if that is indicative of anything or not?

Thanks.

The first one is real, hard to tell by the second one, the pics would be easier to tell if you could see the back of the strap.

Sorry I just clicked the link, both straps are real.

Pics for the second one are better than the first. Both look OK to me, but the first one is a long strap and the second is regular.

Thanks guys. Just wasn't sure since none of my strap deployments have the two holes on the outside (where you can see the pins), and also none of my straps have the model # on that side of the strap.

I'm sure I will be corrected if I'm wrong, but I think the older model deployments had exposed holes whereas the newer models do not.

Deployant is fine. I would never be as confident as MattC's declaration on straps these days because the fakes look so good, but as I said, these look real to me.

Most of the fake straps that I have seen either say "cuir" instead of "croco", and/or the bottom of the font for "Manufacture en" is not in the same line as "Suisse" (ie. the fakes have "Manufacture en" centered with "Suisse".

Neither is the case here. I was thrown off by model # on the opposite side (for both straps) than what I am used to on the strap and the holes in the deployment of the bottom (2nd) strap.

Thanks again!

You can't rely on those giveaways for straps anymore. Some of the newer fakes are scary good.

Roff is right, there are fake straps that can be very hard to tell, the two you showed definitely look the part, but the pictures where good so it made it easier to tell. There are times that pictures are not enough to tell if they are real or not, but the two you shared I'm 100% positive they are real.
