To clarify without rubbishing everything without explanation; The sub dials which should give indication for the minutes and hours totalled from the chronograph (or stopwatch) feature, and the regular second hand, are all too close to the centre. The Breitling logo itself is a little squashed and doesn't sit properly on the dial. The style of numerals and their finish looks a bit off, the rotating bezel numerals are too small and the width of the bezel is too big. The glass should have a blued finish both inside and outside, most noticeable when reflecting a light source. The engraving one the case back is incorrect, but should also be deeper. This looks like it has been etched rather than engraved. The shoulders of the case should be slightly bevelled.
There are quite a few other faults, but they are probably the most easily identifiable. If you go and have a look at your local Breitling stockist they will be happy to help, and are sure to have a couple of Navitimers. Pick up a free catalogue, and have a look to get the feel of whats "right". There are plenty of sources online with excellent pictures, or there's Breitling's website.
Most importantly, don't let the self satisfied opinions of one or two "experts" cloud your enthusiasm. We are all learning, no matter what our experience may be. True knowledge is knowing that we know nothing, not thinking we know everything. Unfortunately there are so many fakes around now, some even using genuine parts, that buying from anywhere but an authorised dealer is a minefield. (Also, you may be a "newbie" as far as the forum goes, but it doesn't mean you have no experience)

thank you for your kind words !

edit: just remembered who you are: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=47242
apparently you did not like we all thought your watch was fake; interesting to see you have now removed all pictures from the thread :wowzers
really makes that compliment so much more important, as it is coming from somebody who has contributed so much to this forum.

Do your own research. We all started not knowing anything and the best way to learn is research the watch you have questions about. Google is great for looking up watches and comparing the details. Pretty soon you'll have a good idea what's genuine and what isn't. Simply entering Breitling B13356 would show it's supposed to be a mens Chronomat Evolution which doesn't resemble what's in your picture at all. Once you've done your initial research and have become somewhat educated on the different models, then ask for further clarification if you still have questions. I don't think anyone here on the forums would consider themselves "experts" as we all are still learning and the fakes get better every day. Good luck! :lingsrock:

Removed all photo's because the subject was closed. If you could read I didn't ask for anyone to tell me it was right, just whether they had seen similar before. Didn't mind your opinions, just the arrogance with which they were expressed. Doesn't really foster any wish to have any association with a group that condones the kind of sledging that seems to go on here. I was under the impression a forum was to help, not belittle, hence my stepping in on this query. Only logged back in to close my membership. Just didn't like to see someone who was reaching out for the assistance of other enthusiasts being belittled and chastised for asking. Just because you may know better you'd have to be a real dick to make someone feel bad cos they don't know what you do. It's pathetic and essentially bullying. As for experience, I sell around a million £'s worth of Breitling a year. As well as stripping them down, refinishing and all maintenance, as I'm sure many others on this site can. I've been a guest of the brand at various events, Red Bull Air Race's, been wing walking and all sorts with them, and am fortunate enough to own a few, the oldest being just over a hundred. However I see no need to justify myself to people who get their kicks from what boils down to bullying. Just because someone doesn't contribute to a forum doesn't necessarily mean they're a "newbie", it could mean they don't like the "boys club" it seems to have descended to, or that they have better things to do with their time. Thank you, Watchfred, for reminding me why I want no part in this one.
