There is a very good fake of this model, but this one looks OK.

Thanks. Anything else specific to look for?
It comes with B&P. Here is another of the dial.

I'm happy that it's real, but make sure that numbers match.

Thanks. Number match on warranty card and certificate but I hear that there are fakes with matching papers as well.

If the papers match on watch, COSC and warranty then there is nothing to worry about.

I got it. Look beautiful. The AR is intact. The bracelet needs some good cleaning but overall a nice example. COSC and Warranty stamped and matching serial number on case back. Warranty dated 2007 so it’s an early model.

The only thing that threw me off a bit was the not so curved ‘S’ in Superocean. From what I read, not all the models have the curved “S”. Is that the case? The lume dots are perfect and flush.

Here is a very clear picture. Any other doubts. Do I need to send it to Breitling?

Yes, some are more curved.
I don't have any doubt your SF is real.

Thank you very much.

I had two Seawolfs in the past, but never tried a Steelfish before. I guess I needed to scratch that itch, so I was looking for a Steelfish for some time. I don’t know much about this particular model so I did some digging and found those superfakes that made me reconsider buying used until I saw this local one.

It does look and feel real and all the paperwork is there. The seller was a nice gentlemen and the 1st owner of the watch and gave me the complete history.

I guess seeing some of those fakes out there made me very paranoiac about every watch. I always buy the seller and it has worked for me in the past.

:yeahthat

Cheers and have a good weekend guys.

Whilst it is possible, I've never come across this.

No doubts whatsoever that the watch in the pictures is real.
