Post subject:  Ebay's slow response to fakes

I don't know what is happening to Ebay over the last few weeks, but they seem to be letting a lot of low-grade fakes through, often selling for thousands of dollars.

I'm now an Enhanced Member Reporting member myself but this is having little effect.

Direct emailing to the Ebay EMR team does seem to work though. Yesterday, I sent them a list of four shockingly bad fakes that have sold over the last two weeks and they have gone now. Sorry bnewbie, I didn't realise that you had 'bought' one of them so I stopped your chance of giving bad feedback.

They don't want to loose money.
Don't worry for removing it before negative feedback, it was 0 fb seller and he can easily make a new account.
I also bought that 70-es piece with modern logo and told German high fb seller to f**k off with his crap from ebay, if he doesn't want negative fb.
He removed it.
Tried to bid on some crap last week, but it wouldn't let me, because item was not available for Croatia.

Lots of changes at eBay lately. They have made it more and more difficult to transact good, quality business. I would think eBay could face penalties for hosting known, fake items, but I wonder if they figure that they won't have to really face any investigations due to volume?
