I have a few newer croc bands 24/20 that on the backside say croco veritable, and I just purchased a deployment with a black croc used seller said it is around 12 years old and that one says cur veritable is that normal on an older strap and the finish looks and feels more like vinyl. Has no model number either like new ones do.ImageImageImageImage

If a croc style strap says cuir on the back then it is fake.

Does the deployment look real? That came with it, I just put it on the new burgundy croc I got on BS from transporter

Cant tell from those photos and it can be hard to tell with these. Clear shots of the inside of the springbar end might help.

Fake for me but am on a cell phone right now. I don't recall any deployants with drilled through springbar holes.

Gentlemen, could you please elaborate a little on what makes you believe that this clasp is fake?
Not doubting your expertiese in any way, just for educational purposes.
One thing that I can spot ( I think) is the "MANUFACTURE EN SUISSE" which on the photo posted by the OP looks more like "MANUFACTUREENSUISSE" with little or no space between the individual words.
Another perhaps is the top of the wings in the logo, looks too straight to me where I think it should have a little bit of a curve in it but now I'm scraping the bottom of a barrel.

Yes, and word BREITLING is not stamped clearly and deep.

Here is a pic of the fake deployment on a real breitling croc, do they usually look like this or do they have more of an arc to them, I never had a deployment before so it's new to me. Mailing back the fake black croc and the deployment in the morning. Thanks for the infoImage

Just got my full refund on this fake set up, purchased a real deployment from a legit dealer with the raised logo over the weekend. Thanks for all your input.

I'd like to know if it's certain that none of these ever had the springbar holes all the way through.
