This one looks good to me, but wanted some independent verification. It does have all boxes and papers (nothing missing). From reading on these, it looks like the lume dots and date font are the biggest items that do not get done correctly on the copies. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Fake of this one is scary good. I think that this is OK, but you absolutely have to match serials on papers. |

Roff, Thanks. I saw the paper shots and the COSC cert and warranty book match (serials typed in along with model number a1732016/c734). The original warranty card is there as well (the one with Travolta on the front of the card), which is not something that i have normally seen. The punch numbers on the warranty book are different than the punch numbers on the COSC cert, but I think they are always different and it is just the serial number we are matching, correct? Thanks! |

Correct. What's important is that papers match the watch, not that the COSC and warranty match each other (that just means that the papers belong together but they could be for a different watch). |

Understood. The serial number is the same on case back, COSC certificate and warranty book. |

bnewbie wrote: Real to me. The other thing that threw me was the leather strap as I have only seen the SOH on rubber or mesh. But my eye was drawn to this one because of the deployant and leather strap. I am not a fan of the rubber strap, so the leather and mesh for change outs really call to me a bit more. |

Leather is an option for the SOH. Full ref for the watch shown is A1732016|C734|102X|A20D.1 |

Another quick question - I saw the movement of the second hand on this one and to me it "hacks" around the dial a bit more than a SOSF with the B17 movement. It just does not seem to sweep as smoothly. I wonder if that is because of the larger diameter of the dial? Or could that indicate the movement needs service? Possibly needs oiled? |

The SOH has a B17 movement as well. I have noticed that the thicker the second hand - quite thick on the SF, rather thin on the SOH - impacts the look of the second hand as it moves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The SOH 46 has a larger dial, so the combo of chrome second hand and bigger travel could magnify the smoothness, or lack thereof, of the sweep. I think part of my problem is the I am looking at the SOH second hand sweep and comparing it to my SOSF 42mm with the stop sign second hand sweep. |

It's mechanically impossible for it to move differently - same number of gears, same frequency movement. As sharkman says the length and width of the hand can cause it to look different. |

Plus the square on your SF 42 fools the eyes a bit. Same thing with. Rolex Sub second hand. The eye is drawn to the larger cue rather than the tip of the second hand and gives the appearance of a smother movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Understood - I have seemed to notice that the stop sign moves a little smoother than the arrow tipped hand, but that may be my eyes fooling me again! |
