Anyone have any idea if this is real or fake?

The word on the keeper reads: "Caouychouc".

I thought the word was "Caoutchouc" - that is, with a T instead of a Y.

Thanks for your help.

Fake to me, not just because wrong spelling, letters on the strap are too thin.

Correction: the word Caoutchouc is spelled correctly - it just looks like a Y rather than a T due to the lighting.

Even so, if the lettering is wrong then I guess this is a dud? Unless there was a version with this style? I don't know...

I was just referring to your comment that it must be a fake as the letters spelling the word Breitling are too narrow.

If this is typical of a fake, then I guess it doesn't matter whether the word Caoutchouc on the keeper is right or wrong!

Thanks for taking the time to look.

You are welcome.
It's difficult to spot caoutchouc fake, if it isn't one with 9 holes.
This one doesn't look good to me.
