Hi I'm fairly new to Breitling watches, and would appreciate the collective wisdom of the experts here...real or fake? Also this is at a brick and mortar that I'll be picking up from, any other things I should check out when I see it in person? Thanks in advance!!!

well, some small points: watch is real, but you might want to confirm the production date; it looks like the post 2008 version w/ Sapphire crystal, definitely has the later date font; Mineral is fine for me, as I'm used to vintage watches, but scratches rather easily.

as the watch has neither papers nor box, the BIN is quite optimistic, but I assume you are not planning to pay this.
nice watch, wears really well - just make sure u try it on to see if the size of 38mm is not too small for your wrist

Thanks so much for the fast responses.

Do you mean pre-2008? Also how do I check the production date, is there something in the serial #?
And what is a fair price? Seller is local to me and we agreed to $3500 him eating the 8.25% sales tax...which probably isn't the best deal, but I thought was an okay deal considering the convenience of being able to see it in person.

Thanks for putting up with all the questions....this watch really appealed to me, and its hard to find a watch that is proportionate to my relatively diminutive wrists.

Sapphire came post 2008. There is a production code between the lugs, more info here: http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_dating.shtml

regarding the price - auctions for similar watches w/o docs typically end between 2 & 2.5k; so convenience would come at quite a surcharge here; not having papers for the watch might make resale a bit problematic.

41330 is with mineral 41370 is with sapphire, also if you look closely you will see many scratches on crystal which is hardly possible on sapphire crystal.
My is in pristine condition with mineral A41330.
