Good day to all,

I plan on getting a birthday present for a relative, and so I'm currently in the market for their first Breitling. Admittedly, I am not adept on Breitling watches and their certification. I already spoke to the seller and he believes it is authentic, as he has gone to dealers around his area and they believe it is real, although he did say the dealers he went to were not certified Breitling retailers. So I led myself here, knowing this would most likely be the second best place to try and get it checked. Also, I've tried to check the identification videos on this website but they've been taken down. Many thanks in advance for your time!

:yeahthat It's a pretty poor fake too, so I am surprised jewelers said it was authentic, even if they werent Breitling retailers. Usually with 'Lings, any price that is too good to be true is, and anything that you suspect isn't right often isn't.

Thanks, yeah the selling price is currently $1000, which originally led me to think about it possibly being real because it didn't match the usual price range for fakes, and I personally spoke to the seller through phone and his tone of voice made it seem like he honestly believed it was real as well, unfortunately he was misinformed, but I have notified him of its authenticity and hopefully he takes it well.

:welcome: Glad you didn't get burned.

For the record, the obvious tell is that the sub-dials are incorrect and show the watch is not a chronograph.
