Does this mean it can still be reported? I was under the impression it could be but I was informed here otherwise??

Don't see why a confirmed fake can't be reported?
It's gone now.

There's a clear difference in my mind between the one that you link to with multiple disclaimers about the watch and a wording buried in the description. No idea what this was as it was gone before I saw it but these things frequently require interpretation and if you interpret things differently tehn go ahead and report - nothing's stopping you!

I am confused as you pointed out how if the seller notes it is not authentic then it isn't against eBay rules and more a decision to pursue or not? Both said the same thing in the description only and not the title, and in pretty similar size font?

Let me try and clarify.....

Do what you want, I'll do what I think is appropriate on a case by case basis and if we disagree then that's OK.

@ nickzac

Some people (incl.myself) don't report when the watch is garbage and seller clearly sells it as a fake.
This was not awful fake and I reported it just to try to stop it circulating, because some day a new owner could perform a scam with it.
It's anyone's free will to report or don't, but I'm only doing it when I'm 100% sure.

Fair enough, but in the event the way you proceeded was any sort of local procedure here, I did not want to overstep that.

I get what you are saying...even ones that are labeled fake can be deceiving and that one didn't look so far fake if it pops up elsewhere. Makes sense. It sucks that people even make fakes to begin with :?

Holy cow - this is a forum, we come together to talk about watches. The only 'rules' or procedures are the ones set as sticky threads, no one is going to berate you for reporting something that others don't think needs reporting - do what you wish.

I'd rather tread lightly than heavily. Thanks for clarifying 8)

LOL if I'm still here that's proof you won't get banned over something regarding reporting vs. not reporting a fake.
