I'm currently bidding on an Avenger Skyland. I'm pretty confident of its authenticity, but want to put it to the forum for a sanity check as this will be my first expensive watch purchase. Watch has serial number intact, comes with matching COSC ( no warranty book though) and a receipt for recent servicing (July) by Breitling. Serial on receipt matches watch. Not the most detailed pics, but lume looks right to me compared to stock photos and the ones are correct at 10/15 on the bezel. Would post pics, but it looks like I'm not able to, guessing its because I'm a noob here. Am I missing anything? Bid with confidence? Thanks for the help - I'll be sure to show it off on here if I win it! Thanks, ![]() |

We'll need pictures to give an opinion on authenticity. If it's an ebay auction just post us a link, or you can post pictures up as there is no limit on newbies posting pictures. There is a file upload facility at the bottom of each "post" page or you can use photobucket - instructions here - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=453 |

Looks ok to me, but remember, buy the seller, its easy to post pics of a real watch and send a fake one! |

Real for me, although better pictures would help. |

Thanks for the help. I requested more detailed photos of the face. Any concern with the papers? How difficult/common are forged COSC certificates and service receipts? Is the no warranty card a concern? |

Sharper pics would confirm it but looks OK to me. Other than the standard Chinese box and papers set with the Crosswind Special manual, forged papers are extremely rare. Since the watch will be out of warranty, the lack of the warranty card is only important if you want the full set of papers it came with. |
