Hi,
I am new to the forum and have just purchased a colt 44. Is there an easy way to tell if it is genuine or fake? I look forward to your help guys

Welcome aboard. I'm not much familiar with newer models, but if you post a photo, someone will tell you if you got a fake. |

 The only fake 44s I've seen are very poor with the wrong model number on the case back. If yours is marked A74387, it's probably OK but as BN says, post some pics so we can take a look. |
