Post subject: | Winding a Breitling Chronometer Navitimer... |
Hello all, I am trying to wind this watch given to me by my uncle. Its a Breitling Chromometer Navigator, however it will not wind up. I tried to find some information on how to wind it, and it will not wind by either movement on my wrist or twisting the crown (which I understand is the middle knob). I have tried shaking it vigorously for 2-3 minutes and the hand doesnt move. I have also tried to turn it counter clockwise for many many turns, and then turn clockwise for even more and I feel no resistance at all. From what I have read, I should feel some sort of resistance like its trying to wind. The watch has been in storage for at least 2-3 years and I was wondering how to get it in working operation again. Any help would be appreciated, as I do not know much about watches. Thanks. |

sorry, but this watch is a very cheap, bad fake. any attempts at repair will be quite futile. |

quite easily, as it only has basic similarities with the original. bezel, dial, subdials, caseback, date font, crown wrong, pushers but no chronograph. |
