Hello,

I want to buy a Breitling from ebay and i want to be sure that will not be a fake. I will buy the watch from USA and i'm located in Spain. How can i verify the watch? This is the watch that i want to buy it http://www.ebay.com/itm/Breitling-Windr ... 231bd67d68

The date window is slightly too wide and the tick marks at the cardinals are wrong on the fake.

Well, it's not the first time that I have been asked to look at a watch to determine whether it's real or not and I know the characteristics of the fake versions fairly well - this one is real. If you would feel more comfortable waiting for other people's input please feel free.

Those who have seen enough fakes know the difference between the real model and the fake one. However, if it would make you feel better, you can wait to see what other members have to say. I don't consider myself an expert, but it certainly looks real to me. (Edit: I mean, what Roff said. :wink: )

That's assuming that the pictures shown are of the actual watch for sale. I didn't see anything in the listing that specifically said that, so you might want to make sure of that before buying.
