As my previous choices have been somewhat bad on authenticating real watches can someone confirm this one?

Thanks Kyle

Real, old, smaller.
It is manual wind, you were looking at two quartz Colts in your other thread.
They are pretty different.

 I'd forgotten that!

@nycmacman - make sure you're happy with a watch you've got to wind up every day.

100% real of course.

Also not much value left there - $600 already with over 2 days to go.

Yea that 600 bid is mine. Do you think that is a fair price for it? I'm not against the winding it every time as it will be a special occasion watch. What would you guys recommend the colt over this one? I really like the blue dial and the fact that it is a chronograph. Yet the strap seems like it is quite worn..... Thanks again for the help everyone

Most of us will recommend a mechanical watch (manual wind or automatic).
There are mechanical Colts also, but that maroon one (I wouldn't buy one from your other link, although it is real) is quartz (battery operated).
If you are anal about perfect time keeping, buy a quartz.
If you can live with a few seconds off in a 24hrs and want to have a watch with a soul, buy mechanical.
