Dear Experts,

I've been reading the wonderful and amazing tips on BS, and decided to purchase a Breitling Colt GMT. I've been in love with the discontinued Colt GMT (circa 2008) for quite some time now. I especially love the silver dial.

Roff and other experts. You continue to amaze me in the "spot the fake" posts.

I just purchased this Colt from an online dealer (not Ebay). I will not name them (in an effort to not violate the TOS). I will say that they actually have an advert on this site. I also apologize in advance, as I do not intend to insult them (as I'm sure they monitor this site). I truly believe I have a genuine Breitling, but I want to post some pictures to "see" what the experts think. I have the option of returning (will not disclose how many days to again avoid identifying the company).

I put a piece of pink paper over my reg. # (for privacy reasons).

I can add some other pictures (of requested areas) if it will help the experts.

So here it is:

Roff,

After I posted, I left to get some lunch, and KNEW you would respond. Thank you VERY much for taking a look.

Roff,

I thought about purchasing an electric winder. This posits a few questions I have. Does my watch have to be "turned" clockwise, counter, or "ok for both"? Also, can it be overwound, or is there an internal mechanism to prevent this? Thanks. Jake.

Per the page on the model here - http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... ne_62.html, or the Orbita database - http://orbita.com/database-search/ it winds in both directions so it doesn't matter. It also only needs 650 turns per day.

Automatic watches can't be overwound.

Thank you, Sharkmouth! It's good, knowledgable people like you that make this forum "the place to go". I love my new Colt GMT. I just ordered a new brown leather strap (20mm) from my AD.

I'll post some more pictures soon. The one's above were taken quickly.
