Hello, I'm willing to buy an Avenger Skyland Black Steel but I'm confused as there are many many replicas around. I've noticed that, in the back of the case, under the writing "limited edition" some have the number xxxx/2000 kind of stamped in black (picture 1), while others have the same numbers kind of engraved (picture 2). which one is correct? I suspect stamped is replica, engraved is correct...but I'd like to hear from real experts.
Thanks!

Can't see the first one very well, but the second one looks perfectly correct to me.

So you're saying black print is correct, engraved is fake?

I usually look on the dial and caseback in general.
From those photos I won't say I'm 100% sure.
If you want me to compare, provide me a clean dial and caseback shot.

The genuine ones have the LE number against a printed black background.

It's not fake, serial from COSC matches and I already wrote that I'm not 100% based on provided photos.
Do I smell a troll?

Unless the pics are extremely good, it's often times difficult to tell the fakes from the genuine. The pic of the first watch does look questionable at the angle of the picture taken, light quality and reflection, however, given the further substantiating evidence i.e., COSC with matching numbers and a pic of the dial along with the other accompanying genuine appearing boxes, then it is far easier to identify it and say it's genuine, which it is. As the guys noted, the first one is a tough call with the low quality picture provided.

The usual tells for the ASBS are on the dial/bezel rather than the LE number which can look very different depending on the lighting.

#1 check for authenticity is always matching paperwork which the eBay listing has.
