The seller states it is an early version of the Wings model. What do you guys think? Thanks,

It looks okay, apart from missing its rider tabs

Real, and seller is correct that it's an early (mid to late 90s) Wings Automatic. As ade113 said the rider tabs are missing from the bezel - should be replaceable by Breitling although can get a bit pricey as the lumed one is missing.

Thanks guys. You've all been a great help. The etching/writing on the back cover made me suspicious. It looks to read 'ACIES' is engraved above the serial number. I've never seen that before... Any comments about the origin?

I can't see that, but it might read "acier" (French for steel)
