Hi, please see below. I do not think this one is real. The bezel seems strange. The font on the white outer ring also is something I have not seen. May be I am wrong.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BREITLING-COSMO ... 500wt_1031

I would like to help the community to stamp out the fakes from ebay. Can someone tell me what is the process of reporting fakes and if it is safe for me to do it using my real ID (chance of retaliation by the counterfeit sellers)?

Link is wrong.

No risk to you in reporting.

Just click on report item from the thread and then select the categories in the drop downs - they vary a bit from site to site. You have to post an explanation of what makes it fake otherwise eBay doesn't act which is why some of us always post what we report.

several answers:
a) watch is real
b) we have a dedicated subforum for these posts, that does help
c) your reports are reports to ebay, seller does not know who reported, no danger here.

edit: thanks for posting in the correct section
edit: correct link http://www.ebay.com/itm/BREITLING-COSMO ... 500wt_1031

So confused.....

I moved the original post to the replica section and then OP deleted it and created a new topic, but link in new one doesn't work - I guess the one in the original thread did!

OK, got the link from Fred's post and agree that it's real, but......

It's pretty beaten up and there is something not right about the outer sliderule - it looks like it has been damaged by wear which is worrying as it is below the crystal.

quite confusing, really, but quite funny, post was gone while I was answering, "no such topic"

to the OP: welcome to the forum, great to have you & we all needed some advice with our first steps here.

when you start getting serious about fighting fakes, here are some request to my fellow hunters:

Got it guys. Thanks.
My first watch was a brietling navitimer world and that is why the brand is close to my heart. I am studying the different models available and want to build a collection.

will post from time to time if I see any suspicious ones.
