I am not very great with watches, but I am buying a breitling super avenger from somebody and he claims it to be 100% authentic, but I just want to make sure. So guys, please help me to check if its authentic or not, thanks a bunch! :D
Here are some pics:

:welcome: and :yeahthat

Lume dots/pearl don't look right to me.

There are hundreds of Super Avengers being sold so I would only buy one with correct paperwork. The latest fakes are very good indeed so why take the risk?

another :yeahthat from me, fake, would NEVER even consider a SA without papers.
you could offer that "somebody" some funny money in return and claim it is "100% authentic".

I'm not so sure. I thought the better fakes were just on the newer models. As this is has non-stenciled numbers I'm tempted to think it could be real. But I haven't seen enough models in the flesh to be 100%.

bnewbie why do you think the case back and serial look off?

But I agree with others and say I wouldn't buy without the full papers.

Caseback logo B is too thin and different shape.
No.2 on fake serial looks different than on a genuine one.

Seems odd to me someone would have the bracelet, strap, and ocean racer, but not care enough to keep the box and papers.

Gotcha on the B. Just got home and compared with mine and the whole B, anchor and wings looks off.

Well...unless he works for Breitling and built it himself there, then that basically defined fake.

In light of that story, there is nothing else we need to see. It's a sure bet he's lying, and the watch is fake. Forget about it and look elsewhere. That's all the advice you need.
