Hi Total newbie here I am thinking of buying a 2010 Breitling Super Avenger. supposidly it Works flawlessly, solid power reserve lasts about a day and a half without winding. Pro2 Bracelet. Watch only, no box. B13 movement, base 7750.the face of the watch is black

the serial no.on the watch
and the model no. is A13370

Befor I go too much further do these things check out (I know that could still be a fake but does this preliminary Info make sense)

What would be a reasonable price to pay for this watch in used condition with no box and papers (I will go to a Breitling dealer if i go tru with the deal and have it authenticated)
are ther any other things I should be looking for (have been told that if the watch has been serviced by someone other than Breitling then Breitling would not touch it ?!) even if its authentic does this devalue the Watch

Thank you
from a newbie

It actually does.. I've got the same watch. Reference number should be A1337011-B907-135A

Odintiger, I bought mine off of a member of this forum earlier this year for $3500US it was in brand new condition (with all packaging still on the watch/box) with papers and a warranty that is still valid for 7 more months. In used condition, without B&P, Whatever you're willing to pay and he's willing to sell for.. come to an agreement. They've been selling on here in used condition with B&P for around $3000. Without, I believe people average about 10% less or so... It doesn't look like it has very many scratches. Maybe offer between $2500 and $2700?? I'm no expert and maybe a few others around here can help you better.. but that'd be about my guess.. You may even be able to get replacement chronometre papers from Breitling, Someone around here mentioned that before. Hope this helps a bit.

thank you
I am hoping a few more Members with some experience will respond to see if by the pictuires I have posted and the info if there are any glaring inacuracys regarding this watch
I am trying to save myself a 3 hour drive if there is anything that is obvious to someone that knows these watches as I said i would still have a dealer look at it to tell me if its genuine or not before going thru with the purchase

By the way what do they look at to authenticate the watch

you posted another No. that i did not get from the seller is that (b-907) stamped on the watch somwhere as well

Thanx

the b907 is the dial code being black with battons... you won't find that stamped on the watch... the pics that are posted look pretty genuine in the fact that it looks exactly the same as my watch. I can't accurately comment as to what an AD would do.. but a few of the guys here are very very good (sometimes better than AD's) at authenticating... Watchfred, bnewbie and roff are all pretty damn good at it. Maybe PM one of them (bnewbie does this alot in the identification section)

That looks like a beautiful specimen to me, and genuine.

Not a serial number used for the fakes, lume is accurate and looks genuine.

I would be prepared to pay $2500 used for this if I were in the market.

Yeah those pics were way better. Watch looks good.. Start at $2400 or $2500 and work from there... without B&P, not work much more than $2550 - $2600... IMHO

I expected the 'normal' type of caseback
