I read the articles on how to spot a fake and things looked good until I opened it up and seen the compass

I didn't buy this a customer got it in trade and was looking to trade it to me. Bummer as I really want to add a Breitling to my collection of Rolex's and Tag's just don't want to buy new

If there's a compass on an emergency wannabe its certainly fake
if it was real and you opened it up it would cost you a lot of $$$$'s

If you extend the antenna thus activating it then it cost you a lot of money right? Just opening the cap doesn't activate the ELT correct?

do not worry, the watch you have in hand is fake, it will not send out an emergency signal, whatever you pull out.

I figured it was fake as there where no warnings anywhere so I wasn't worried about opening it I just found this forum researching how to tell it was fake so I could be 100% sure when I tell my buddy he got hosed

I think it is hysterical the Chinese went to the trouble of putting a compass in there.
