I'm new to the forum. I'm planning on buying a used Breitling Colt Automatic. The watch is being sold at a local watch forum. The forum moderators strictly ban fake watches. The gentleman selling the watch is a reputable and long member. The watch is being sold with box and without papers. You can see the presented pictures below. The price is 1250 USD. This will be a gift from my mother and I'm planning to keep this watch as an heirloom.

I would be very much thankful, if you could assess this sale and identify whether the watch is genuine. I very much like to join the breitling owners society.

No worries at all with the watch in your pics. And he seems a good seller. You can get a replacement manual/COSC from Breitling if you wish for a small charge (but obviously not the warranty book).

The Colt replica is not very good and easy to spot by the bad pearl. It also has the model ref E13360 on the case back which is a Chrono Avenger.
