Im after some model and authenticity views on the below also the new price it was sold for if possible.
I know its not much to go but may get chance to see it and take it to a dealer first.

Is there any know fake serial numbers that are common ?

Perfectly real, and if bnewbie says it then there really isn't any need for a second opinion.

Just to reassure, there are Cockpit reps, but they are bad and they don't have a big date.
Any Cockpit with double date wheel is genuine.

Regarding the dating of the watch and using this site were it states the dial changed to the pillar design what years before did this model start from in this design ?

It will be 2007 or earlier.

You can date it to the week of manufacture by following these guidelines - http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_dating.shtml
