I just bought this. I was told the numerals on the bezel were painted blue by a watch dealer the previous owner dealt with. Thats the first thing I plan to remove. I'll either use acetone and do it myself, or have my jeweler look at it. Either way, I plan on having at least the face refinished if not the bracelet too.

Thoughts?

Well if you want Breitling parts you have to use Breitling, authorised service centres are listed by region on their website.

:welcome: and :real:

A microfibre cloth with nail varnish remover should get rid of the blue paint. A Cape Cod cloth should give it a shine.

Beyond that, it will need a vacation with Breitling!

Thanks! Will the cape cod cloth work well on the brushed bezel or rather the rest of the watch which is polished?

I may take the paint off myself and then have my jewler work on the rest. He made a Tag that I had look brand new when it was very visibly used.

Horrible taste? I couldn't figure that one out either. At first I thought it was just lighting from the camera, but then realized he mentioned it in the description. Told me that the previous owner had it done.
